Kids in kindergarten through second grade are still building fine-motor control and reading fluency. The pages in this collection were chosen with that in mind: simple silhouettes, large color zones, and the species young children most often recognize from books and zoo trips.
Each page works as a stand-alone coloring activity, but most are also good launch points for a ten-minute morning meeting — show a page, name the animal, share the fun fact, and move on.
